This afternoon, while I was walking at the cinema section of SM Mall of Asia, I saw a huge standee of Mirror Mirror. There is one thing that caught my attention and got me speaking to myself. ‘Why did they have to do something to Snow White’s appearance? She was supposed to be pretty in the story,’ I asked my self. I noticed the alteration because I noticed on the posters and the trailer that Snow White, played by Lily Collins, has some sort of thick and somehow distracting eyebrows. I assumed the writers decided to tweak the fairy tale by doing something unappealing to supposedly perfect image of the fairy tale character.
Out of my curiosity, I looked for the movie on IMDb. To my surprise, that’s how Lily Collins really looks like. I’ve never felt this bad before for saying something negative about someone’s appearance.
